In this hands-on crash course, Shaw broke down what MCP is, why it matters, and how it works in real-world applications. After covering the core concepts, he guided participants through building a simple app step by step—so you can see MCP in action.
The goal of this session was to make MCP feel concrete and approachable. By the end, you’ll have both a solid understanding of the fundamentals and a working example to use as a starting point for your own projects.
